About Ron...

He is a principal of MBDL. Ron McNeil, RBD, AScT, had 11 years experience, operating as a proprietorship prior to incorporation in 1995, making a total of 16 years experience. Ron is a certified Registered Building Designer , a member in good standing with the Building Designers Institute of BC. Ron enjoys all aspects of design but particularly finds rezoning and development permit applications satisfying challenges. He has a good rapport with municipal planners and is quite comfortable speaking to councils, committees and design panels. I work hard and smart to enable protection natural features as can be practical, practicing the principles of Naturscaping.

A program in which I participate personally. It encourages leaving alone or re-establishing native plantings so that your yards "ecology" suits our birds , butterflies, etc.

A bit of more personal info on Ron . . . He is happily married, to Maureen since 1995. They are expecting first child in Spring 2000. Living comfortably in their custom built home since June 1997.

Keeping him occupied even before the baby came along was his ever active sidekick, Teddy, a loveable Border Collie.

Ron's hobbies have been taking a bit more of a "backseat" since adopting Teddy, I only Kayak on some summer camping weekends, I cycle on my recumbent rarely until I can train Teddy to accept bicycles and run along side me. I still try and make it to any International Human Powered Speed Championships that are held on the west coast of North America. Once parental duties are sorted out I will try and resume playing indoor Wallyball and outdoor Volleyball.
